The Road Venture SAT (SAT for Stylish All-Terrain) is Kumho Tire's On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire developed for pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicle drivers looking for long wear, year-round traction and a comfortable ride. With tread pattern and sidewall styling inspired by the natural shape of a flame, the Road Venture SAT is designed to combine traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including in light snow. The Road Venture SAT uses a symmetric five-rib tread pattern that features a center rib to enhance straight-line tracking and reduce on-road noise. Intermediate tread blocks feature stone ejector bars and wraparound shoulder blocks are complemented by raised sidewall protector guards to enhance traction in loose surfaces and help shield the tire from off-road contact. Wide circumferential grooves, lateral notches and sipes help evacuate water to reduce the risk of hydroplaning and enhance all-season traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin high-tensile steel belts reinforced by spirally wound nylon to blend handling with durability. Polyester cord reinforced sidewalls molded into a computer-optimized contour reduce internal tire stresses to increase ride comfort and tire durability while rim flange protectors help shield wheels from off-road debris and accidental curb damage. The Road Venture SAT On-Off/Road All Terrain tires are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol to identify they meet industry severe snow service standards.

Great Tire. I drive my truck like a f1 car and it holds tight every where. Never have to think twice in the rain where I typically go 80 on the highway. Great cornering tires never break loose. Snow traction is great, ice is ok but there is only so much you can do with ice. Don't do too much off roading, but does great with the loose gravel in colorado. The wear ratings are awesome and at 8k plus they still look brand new. These destroy the factory Dunlops. This is the third pair of Kumhos I have owned and would never look back. I have also owned their Ecxta Supra High performance summer tires that were amazing and also a pair of their economy tires that lasted 80k and were great. They use a great compound in all their tires that makes them great in the rain and super quiet.
