The Sumitomo (Su mi to' mo) HTR Sport A/T is an Off-Road All-Terrain radial that was developed to meet the year round driving needs of light truck drivers by blending on-road performance, off-road capability and year round traction, even in light snow. The HTR Sport A/T radial’s silica-enhanced, all-season tread compound is molded into a tread pattern that features a center rib for stability, large shoulder blocks for responsive handling, and wide, wedge-shaped lateral grooves to enhance wet traction and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. The HTR Sport A/T radial’s tread block siping and shoulder block slots add biting edges to help increase off-road and light snow traction. Internally, the HTR Sport A/T radial’s twin steel belts are reinforced by JointLess Band (JLB) technology which uses spirally-wound, nylon cord reinforcement to provide long term durability while it reduces weight and helps provide a more uniform ride quality. Sumitomo HTR Sport A/T radials feature raised black letter or outline white letter styling depending on size. HTR Sport A/T radials are available in popular flotation and LT-metric sizes (85- and 75-series), as well as, S- and H-speed rated 70-, 65- and 60-series P-metric sizes for 15" to 18" wheel diameters.

Was first impressed by the sight of this tire. A local dealer recommended them and Im glad I bought them. They just dont slip, even when its wet they stick like glue. Ive driven probably too fast in pretty heavy rain (75-80mph)and no hint of hydroplaning. I wish I could give some comment on snow traction but I dont have experience in that area yet. The only minor complaint could be that small rocks will get caught in the tread then make noise when they fly off and hit the wheel well. I would recommend this tire to anyone. I drive highway most times but hunt and fish and drive dirt roads throughout the year and have had absolutely awesome performance from this tire up to this point. I have about 10,000 miles on them and cant tell that any of the tread is gone. Hope this helps. Buy this tire, youll like it!
